My child is considering dropping from HL to SL in one of their sciences. How do you approach that decision?

The decision to move from HL to SL in a science subject significant implications & depends entirely on the student's intended university pathway & the specific entry requirements involved. Engineering, medicine, pharmacy & most physical sciences degrees at Australian & international universities require HL in the relevant science subject & so changing to SL can close these options before the leaner has completed Year 11.
