The University of Pennsylvania is rich in American history and is located Philadelphia. Students are encouraged to participate in activities outside of the classroom, such as discovering the city's cultural, social, and political life. Penn has 12 schools, five of which offer both undergraduate and graduate programs, and seven of which only offer graduate programs. Penn's Wharton School, School of Education, School of Engineering and Applied Science, Law School, and School of Medicine are all highly ranked graduate programs. Penn's School of Design and School of Dental Medicine are two more noteworthy graduate programs.
