The MYP Personal Project could be your chance to realize a long-held ambition of working on an out-of-the-box idea. If you are presently enrolled in the Middle Years Program, the MYP Personal Project must be completed in your final year before beginning the IBDP. The personal project allows you to construct a project of your choice while consolidating your classroom learning. The goal of the initiative is to put participants' “self-management, research, communication, critical and creative thinking, and collaboration†skills to the test.
The Personal Project, unlike the e-assessments, is a required component of the MYP and is externally moderated. The Personal Project is a fantastic program that encourages independent thinking and cross-disciplinary learning. The MYP's mandate for this is extensive, and the basic concept behind these initiatives is well-suited to many aspects of the IBDP, as well as university education. In terms of moderation, a sample of projects is sent out in order to moderate all of the school's grades equally.
