During the Middle Years Program (MYP), learners improve their language and literature skills in six different ways: reading, speaking, writing, viewing, and presenting. - In Criteria B, students demonstrate their abilities to organize their thoughts and ideas according to a range of appropriate conventions for various forms and purposes of communication.
- 'Producing text' is Criteria C which require students to produce written and spoken texts and take into account both the creative process itself and the connections between the creator and their audience.
- Using language accurately and appropriately is one of the criteria for Criteria D, and students must use expressive language that is appropriate for the context and purpose of the text, whether written, spoken, or displayed visually.
